This group of four shawls was made from the same warp. The weft (threads that go back and forth to make the fabric) are varied in color and weight. The more passes per inch the more time involved in creating the garment. Item A brighter peach on the top of the display and is the heaviest of this group though still lightweight. Item D is a pale “peachy” and is the fine weave and the lightest weight. All are made from cotton and rayon. There is also some glass seed beading along the edges.
